Rocket Day 2007
We had another successful year with the rocket launch. Although there did not seem to be as many boys there to launch rockets as there has
been in the past. Unfortunately also since I (webmaster) helped with the launching of the rockets, I wasn't able to take many pictures. I do
have a few here below. We also had a representative there from the Marshall Advocate who also took pictures for the newspaper. If anyone
else took pictures that you would like to let us post here on the website, please send them to the packs email address or to me, the webmaster,
and thank you in advance. You can find those links on the main home page. But as far as the rockets went, I don't believe any kids lost their
rockets this year as some have in the past. It was a fun day and I even had a few rockets of my own. The port-a-john rocket seemed to be a
big laugh also. It's first flight wasn't quite the best, but if you stayed around for the second flight then you know how spectacular it was. I think
though that due to the damage it has received in it's few flights, this year was probably the last year for it. But then, port-a-john's aren't made
to fly anyway. So enjoy the few pictures here now and I'll try to get more to post later if anyone sends us some and I'm going to try and see if
I can get more pics from the advocate. Hope to see you next year.
